1. Dzongkhag Administration, Paro invites sealed Bids from eligible and qualified Bidders for the following listed works. The period for execution of the assignment is as specified below for individual works.
2. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the RGoB Procurement Manual and are open to all Bidders within the country.
3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the District Engineer, Dzongkhag Administration, Paro, e-mail I/D sangayten04@hotmail.com and karsoden@yahoo.com and inspect the Bidding documents at the Address given below.
4. Qualification requirements include; Registered contractors in the specified class, fulfilling all the requirements of the Construction Development Board in terms of technical, financial and other requirements.
5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by the interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non refundable fee as specified above for each works. The documents can be purchased from the office of the Revenue Section, Dzongkhag Administration, Paro, starting Monday, September 21, 2009 till Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11.00 hours, dated Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend in person on the same day, October 21, 2009, at 14.30 hours.
7. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security amount as specified above in the form of Bank Guarantee or Cash warrant addressed to the one given below. Cash will not be accepted.
8. Bidders are encouraged to make site visits and thoroughly acquaint with the Socio-Cultural and Geotechnical situation of the site in filling up the bids.
9. The decision of the Dzongkhag Tender Committee will be final and binding.
