Fire Risk Reduction Day -24th June 2025.

The Fire Risk Reduction Day was observed in Paro Dzongkhag today along with the other Dzongkhags.

Awareness on prevention of fire on use of fire extinguishers, fire alarm and water hydrant as part of the program for Fire Reduction Day.

The fire reduction hands on training was also imparted to the staff of Dzongkhag Administration, National Museum Staff, Kichu Lhakhang and Taktshang Monastery.

The primary aim of the program was to promote awareness on fire prevention measures and ensure proper understanding and use of essential firefighting equipments.

The hands-on training and demonstration were conducted by the Dzongkhag Fire Personnel (Police), with assistance from the Dzongkhag Cultural Officer and the Dzongkhag Disaster Management Focal Person.

Prevention is better than cure. Stay safe and prevent fire hazards.
